About Joanie

   As a lover of fine art and beauty, and in particular John Castle's art,  I supports John's artistic talents as an operations manager, project director, and senior writer/administrator. I wear many hats and I am continually engaged in project management, planning, marketing, writing/editing, proposal preparation, and computer and administrative support tasks. I also strategize marketing approaches and create brochures, flyers and marketing collatoral to support the creation and delivery of John’s fine art murals and paintings to high end and retail clients and hand-drawn architectural renderings to architects and interior designers. I also merchandises products based on his fine art designs through CafePress.

     I also have an extensive background as a Senior Technical Writer and Trainer where I developed numerous on-line Help and print documents for voice-enabled products in the speech dictation/recognition industry for medical applications and database management systems for the Departments of Transportation and Defense. I created numerous versions of WebHelp, HtMLHelp,and WinHelp in addition to a well-spring of documentation to support the full life cycle development of software products. As a trainer, I created and taught courses in logistics management to Air Force personal, among other teaching, training, and coaching activities.

     As an independent contractor while attending grad school, I performed numerous tasks for clients such as writing and editing (academic specialties); advertising and promotion; business correspondence and computer consulting, troubleshooting and support; organizational and administrative support work; and spiritual and psychological counseling and coaching.
