I am a professional concept architectural designer, fine art illustrator, and world class muralist with over 25 years’ experience here and abroad on hundreds of projects. Known for my rapid and prolific illustration of ideas by hand, my extensive experience ranges from individual private homes and offices to international projects to themed work for restaurants, casinos, hotels, and entertainment complexes.
For my architectural work, I take ideas and plans and transform them into compelling and persuasive imagery that shows the design intent of proposed projects to clients, investors, lenders, regulators, and the public. I work over digital wireframe, direct from photos, and free hand to quickly generate 7 to 8 renderings a day, assisting in getting visual communications direct to clients in record time!
For my fine art work, I use the techniques of the old masters to create art for any theme or style. My custom hand-painted art pieces include trompe l’oeil, ceiling/dome, and themed/ecclesiastical murals and paintings; and faux finishes, using tools such as Venetian plaster, sponge, and rag.
Utilizing a variety of illustration styles and rendering techniques, I have compiled an extensive portfolio that includes watercolor, acrylic, oil, and airbrush paintings; pen & ink sketches; b/w and color pencil drawings; and color marker illustrations.
